July has been another full and exciting month here at SoleFamily.
One highlight: we’ve expanded our merchandise range to support our fundraising efforts. Alongside some fun new items, we’re also introducing co-branded merchandise to help attract more vendors and supporters to join our mission.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Anita to our Outreach Team — a qualified nurse whose skills and compassion have already made a big impact. This vital role has been vacant for some time, and Anita’s experience will greatly support our assessments and ongoing care for SoleBuddies, including those living with mental health challenges.

SoleBuddy Spotlight: Kadek Adi
Meet Kadek Adi, a bright and resilient 13-year-old whose life changed thanks to the generosity of our SoleFamily supporters.
Just last year, Kadek faced a major heart condition that left him constantly tired, often missing school, and unable to enjoy the simple joys of childhood.
But after undergoing life-saving cardiac surgery, everything changed. Today, Kadek is a happy, healthy kid — back in school, playing with friends, and embracing life with energy and smiles.
His family is overjoyed and deeply grateful. And so are we.

Bali Hotels Association (BHA) – Representatives from BHA’s CSR Committee visited our SoleCentre and Care & Recovery Centre to see firsthand how their support helps us in action. (

Rotary Club Nusa Dua – Our Co-Founder and General Manager had the honour of visiting to thank the members personally for their continued monthly contributions, which go a long way in sustaining essential care.
Funday at The Apurva Kempinski – Ten SoleBuddies enjoyed a beautiful day learning about horticulture and creating artwork from recycled materials. These “fundays” offer joy, connection, and valuable moments of exchange for both the children and their families.
We’re reminded every day that giving isn’t always grand gestures — it’s consistent, community-driven care that creates lasting change.

That’s the Bali version of a round trip to Australia — we wish we could collect air miles!
46 food parcels + 720 eggs
Enough to fuel a village full of nasi goreng, omelettes, and breakfast smiles. (Talk about cracking impact!)- 27 SoleBuddies at FINNS Care & Recovery Centre
Our little healing hub was alive with laughter, rest, and recovery — that’s 27 stories and probably 2,700 cuddles. 
969 meals served
That’s nearly a thousand plates of nourishment, love, and a whole lot of rice.
